Introducing Thomas

Well, Wyatt started school recently. OK, it's not really school because I am lazy and didn't sign him up in time, its more of a day care. Either way we call it school.
Wyatt could care less about me leaving him at school, he just runs to the first toy he sees and starts playing. I was all excited because they do a craft every day and I was going to keep his first project forever....probelm is, well how should I say it....it was Ugly. It was this red construction paper with pictures of girls cut out of magazines, he supposedly had pasted them on and it said "I am growing." Growing into what is what I am wondering, a girl crazy boy, or a girl. I wonder if they even had pictures of boys for him to pick out. I will say that he only has one girl in his class so I am going with the idea that he was being nice and letting all those other 2 year olds that have a problem with their sexuality have the boys. My son....he is secure.
The whole ride to school on his first day I was prepping him for people asking what his name was. I wanted him to be able to say, "I'm Wyatt." He was doing well, right as we pulled up he was finally starting to get it. We walked into class and the teacher came right over, bent down and asked him what his name was. "Thomas" he said with authority, I just started laughing. No, his name is Wyatt, he just has this thing for Thomas the Tank Engine. That make me chuckle all day.
Wyatt goes twice a week and luckily the second class that he went to he brought back this wonderful butterfly that he made with his handprints. So while I wanted to keep the first thing he ever brought home I am content with something he brought home from his first WEEK at school.
